Wild Operations Director Leaves Team After Claims Against Guerin
It was announced today by the Athletic's Michael Russo that Andrew Heydt will be leaving the Minnesota Wild after 10 years. Heydt had accused current GM Bill Guerin of verbal abuse, which sparked a third-party investigation.
After 10 years with the #mnwild, director of team operations Andrew Heydt and the Wild have mutually agreed to part ways, I'm told. Heydt had accused Bill Guerin of verbal abuse. The Wild investigated via third party law firm but declined to publicly disclose the findings (1/2)
Guerin will remain in his position as GM and President of the Wild. The findings of the investigation have not been revealed to the public.
