The NHL's Department of Player Safety announced today that a Minnesota Wild star will have a hearing for a slew-foot.
First Line Center Facing Discipline After Slew-Foot
Minnesota Wild first-line center Ryan Hartman will be facing discipline for a slew-foot perpetrated on Red Wings winger Alex Debrincat.
Hartman slew foots DeBrincat - no call on that play, but Detroit is penalized for DeBrincat's retaliation. #LGRW
Despite not being penalized Hartman will face punishment from the league.
Minnesota's Ryan Hartman will have a hearing tomorrow for slew-footing/tripping Detroit's Alex DeBrincat. A fine is the most likely outcome for Hartman but a suspension could be in play if the Department of Player Safety wants to send a message.
As more information comes available from the hearing we will pass that along to you.
