BREAKING: Flames Trade Nikita Zadorov To Division Rival

Today the Calgary Flames made a major trade with a division rival shipping out Nikita Zadorov.
Zadorov Traded To Division Rival
Multiple reports are confirming that Nikita Zadorov has gotten his wish and been traded. Zadorov had reportedly requested a trade a couple of weeks back. Now he will head to the Pacific North West to play for the Vancouver Canucks.
Canucks have acquired Nikita Zadorov from Calgary for a 2026 3rd and 2024 5th.
Zadorov is a rugged defensive defenseman who likes to hit. Toronto and New Jersey were also in on him
The Canucks were reportedly the winner in a bidding war with the Toronto Maple Leafs and New Jersey Devils. A pair of draft picks will head back to Calgary as they look to re-tool their roster.
