Devils head coach Lindy Ruff revealed the worst confirming that a former 1st overall draft pick is injured.
Hischier Injured Versus Islanders
Last night in a 5-4 win against the New York Islanders, the Devils lost one of their most important players in their captain and 2017 1st overall draft pick, Nico Hischier.
Upper body injury for Nico Hischier says Lindy Ruff.
The #NJDevils captain did not come out for the third period.
Hischier got injured after a hit from Islanders defenseman Ryan Pulock shoved him awkwardly into the boards.
