Goalie Fight Erupts at Center Ice in European League
In the win2day ICE Hockey League, two goalies decided enough was enough and decided to take action into their own hands, skating to center ice to drop the mitts. The two went in a spirited bout that saw both goalies keep their upper pads on, and the fight stayed upright the entire time.
An absolute rarity 👀 Goalie vs. Goalie 💥 No, not in the NHL but in the win2day ICE Hockey League. Rasmus Tirronen and Niklas Svedberg met in the center circle to "exchange views".
The fight looks as though it broke out after a scrum occurred at one end, and both goalies wanted to play a part in the action. Overall, neither tender was able to land any huge blows, however, Tirronen looked as though he landed one to send Svedberg back in his stance, ending the fight.
