39-Year-Old Veteran Hints At NHL Return With Recent Move
This NHL veteran's recent move indicates he might be considering a comeback to the NHL.
First Step in Parise Comeback is Happening Now in New York
Zach Parise has made the first step in a potential comeback to the NHL this year, as reports have confirmed that he has begun skating in his hometown of Minnesota. While nothing has been decided on a Parise return as of yet, he did not rule out a potential return in last year's exit interviews, and Lou Lamoriello, GM for the Islanders, says he doesn't think Parise will retire just yet.

Parise ended the season last year with the Islanders and has said if he was to make a return, that is the only place he would play.
Teammates Also Want Parise to Make a Return
If he doesn't already have the itch on his own, his teammates are surely making a case for him to return. Mat Barzal even called him out during the Islanders' golf outing, tell him to get back to Long Island.
«Zach, if you're watching, get back here," Mat Barzal said at golf outing.
Per @reporterchris on Thursday, Zach Parise has resumed skating, and Parise said back in April it was #Isles or nowhere.
Even if Parise mounts a full comeback, it may be difficult for the Islanders to fit him into the lineup, given their cap constraints. However, those questions can be dealt with if they arise.
