After an illustrious career that's seen success on seemingly every stage, Jaromir Jagr is set for an amazing honour in 2024.
Jagr to be inducted into the Hall of Fame
While his career is still active in Europe, the IIHF Hall of Fame Class of 2024 has officially been announced and will be headlined by the veteran superstar.
"Jaromir Jagr is a legend, plain and simple, and even at age 51 he still plays some games for his club team, Kladno. His last appearance with the national team was eight years ago, in Prague, where he was named tournament MVP at the Men's World Championship, the culmination of a career that started in 1990 when he helped Czechoslovakia win a bronze medal at the World Junior Championship." The IIHF said.
As mentioned, Jagr helped his home country to a bronze at the World Juniors over 30 years ago tallying 18 points in 7 games, and has not stopped starring for his home nation ever since.
There's no doubt going to be a spot for him in any Hall of Fame that exists during hockey, as his 30+ year career is almost unmatched in the history of the sport, but for now, this is a great honour that he will receive in 2024.
