Despite missing Andrei Vasilevsky in net, the Tampa Bay Lightning have been solid once again to start the 2023-24 season, but now, they'll missing another of their big stars.
Kucherov set to miss a key Saturday night matchup
Saturday night's stacked slate of NHL games features a mouth watering showdown between the Lightning and the Carolina Hurricanes, but now, the team have announced that forward Nikita Kucherov will miss the game due to illness.
UPDATE: Nikita Kucherov will miss tonight's game vs. Carolina due to illness.
In just 14 games this year, Kucherov has been perhaps at his career best, notching 11 goals and 23 points thus far, so they will be hoping it's just a one game absence, but even then, he'll be sorely missed.
