Fleury Set To Play In His 1000th Game Tonight
Since being drafted 1st overall in 2003, goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has proved to be among the best goaltenders of all time. Being a consistent starter for nearly 20 years, Fleury's longevity is hard to match.
Tonight, the Minnesota Wild will be facing off against the Winnipeg Jets in what will be Fleury's 1000th career NHL game.

Since the NHL's inception, 382 players have hit the 1000-game plateau but only three of them are goaltenders. Fleury will join a list with Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo, and Patrick Roy as goaltenders who have hit 1000 career games.
Fleury is playing in his 20th season and has a surefire Hall-of-Fame resume that includes three Stanley Cups and a Vezina trophy. We congratulate him on reaching this mark and look forward to seeing what he brings tonight versus Winnipeg.
