Tonight the hockey world was graced with the elusive and electric goalie fight when the affiliates of the Edmonton Oilers and Chicago Blackhawks went to battle.
Oilers And Blackhawks Affiliate Goalies Drop The Gloves
Near the end of the second period of a game between the ECHL affiliates of the Edmonton Oilers and Chicago Blackhawks, a goalie fight broke out between Zach Driscoll and Brett Brochu. The two goalies in the fight went at it and let the punches fly.
The fight started after a brawl broke out between both teams in front of Brochu. Then the goalies decided it was their turn to go toe to toe.
Reports coming from the arena have indicated that neither goalie has been ejected as the game continues along. The ECHL has always been known for being a wild league full of entertainment. Tonight these two teams and their goalies lived up to the hype.
