Sanderson Stays In Ottawa
According to the new report that has come in Jake Sanderson has signed a massive extension to stay with the Sens. The details of the contract are an 8-year deal with an AAV of $8.05 million dollars.
The deal ties Sanderson to the Ottawa Senators until he is 30 years old.
Sanderson has blossomed into the number-one defenseman for the young Senators. He will only continue to improve as he is only 21 years old. In his first full NHL season, Sanderson put up 32 points in 77 games. Look for him to take a massive leap heading into his sophomore NHL season.
The Senators continue to build through their youth. Players like Brady Tkachuk, Tim Stutzle, and Sanderson are set up to be the core in Ottawa for a long time.
This is a refreshing change from just a few years ago when Senators fans were in a constant cycle of losing stars. Now this team will have the opportunity to grow together and compete for the biggest prize of all the Stanley Cup
