The game got a little out of hand as there was a moment that Matthew Tkachuk tried to fight Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark, and it caused a bit of a line brawl.
You would have expected the Bruins players to be all smiles after taking a commanding 3-1 lead in the series, but the antics by the Panthers team today rubbed them all the wrong way.
After the game, Brad Marchand was asked about the alleged Matthew Tkachuk comment from the previous game regarding a players wife:
Having been a hockey fan all my life I do get trash talk. I get the point is mind-games & it's supposedly meaningless'.
But I'd like the BROADCAST to consider their message to little girls at home hearing Tkachuk say «Your whore hit you like that?»

Marchand's response to the question was not as you would have expected, considering how upset he was after the game. While he did call the comment 'disrespectful' he was more upset with the NHL's hot mic in general than the actual comment:
Marchand, asked about Tkachuk's previous comments crossing the line, spins it the other way: "I think the NHL and the media outlets have crossed the line to allow those mics ..."
Called it "very disrespectful" to the NHL-NHLPA agreement ...
Wouldn't say if Tkachuk crossed it. Matt Porter (@mattyports) April 23, 2023
