Breaking: Patrick Kane Spotted in Toronto
The top free agent available, Patrick Kane, is still recovering from his double hip surgery and is expected to miss several months of action.
He is slowly getting ready to come back, and he's been doing so in Toronto.
Kane's Training in Toronto Fuels Rumors
Darren Dreger reported some major news on Kane's rehabilitation process:
Patrick Kane continues to rehab from his hip surgery. He's been doing so in the Toronto area since July and requires at least another month. We know Buffalo is interested. He could help many teams when healthy.
Choosing to spend the summer in Toronto could be a sign that he intends to sign there.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait at least another month or so before knowing where he'll sign.
In this situation, Toronto has a good opportunity to acquire him. With Keefe confirming that they'll use William Nylander at center, this leaves an open spot for Kane on the second line.
Let's hope Treliving can work his magic to keep the future member of the HHoF with the Leafs!
