Carey Price has been seen on the ice practicing with Paul Byron taking shots and performing some incredible stretching techniques, but we've yet to hear about the process for him to return to game action.
But today Dominique Ducharme provided an update on the star goaltender.
Dominique Ducharme mentions that Carey Price was supposed to see his doctor, for his injured knee, during the NY trip before Christmas. It was obviously canceled and now he'll have a virtual meeting with his doctor.
Once Price gets full clearance from his doctor he will be able to return to full on ice duties which will involve full team practices and also inch him closer to returning for the Canadiens.
Price finished last 12-7-5 with a GAA of 2.64 and a S% of .901 before leading the Habs to the Stanley Cup Finals, all while battling a nagging knee injury. The hope is Price can return to his 2013-2017 form when he was the best goalie in the world.
