Controversial Son of Daniel Briere Signs a Contract
Some breaking news emerged on Twitter earlier today concerning Carlson Briere, the son of Daniel Briere, the current GM for the Flyers.
Carson made headlines a few months ago when he pushed an empty wheelchair down some stairs. Now, less than six months later, he has signed a pro contract.
Briere Inks a Deal
Briere will officially join HC 19 Humenné in the Extra Liga, Slovakia.
The 23-year-old was banned from his college hockey team after the incident. He's unlikely to be accepted in the NHL or anywhere in North America, for that matter. Europe is one of the only options for him.
Do you think he'll play his entire career in Europe?
