Yesterday the Dallas Stars embarrassed the Nashville Predators by scoring two goals in the final 15 seconds of the game to steal a win.

Stars Strike Quick To Steal The Win

Yesterday the Central Division rival Stars and Predators faced off in what was a close game. With just 15 seconds left in regulation, the Stars had the net pulled and former Predator Craig Smith netted the game-tying goal.

While the Predators were disappointed with this, they thought the game would just go to overtime where they would have to fight for the win. However, the Stars had other ideas as defenseman Jani Hakanpaa fired a late shot to put the Stars up 3-2 less than a minute after being down 2-1.

The Stars made history as the first team to score twice in the final 15 seconds to steal a victory.

Per #NHLStats:

The @DallasStars are the first team in @NHL regular season history to score a game-tying and game-winning goals in the final 15 seconds of regulation.

The Stars moved 20-8-4 with this victory placing them as the best team in the Central division while the Predators fell to 19-15 which is good for 4th in the Central.
