Cherry Mourns the Passing of the Mississauga Ice Dogs' First Ever Captain
On X, Don Cherry shared the heartbreaking news that Scott Page, who's remembered fof being the first captain of the Mississauga Ice Dogs, has regrettably passed away at the age of 44.
Here's what he said:
Was so sad to hear the passing of Scott Page, the first captain of the Mississauga IceDogs. He was a tough as they come and a great leader. Godspeed Scott.
Despite his accomplishments in the OHL, notably playing for the Sudbury Wolves and the Soo Greyhounds before being the first captain of the Ice Dogs, he never made it to the NHL.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his friends and family.
