Edmonton Fan makes Lame Attempt to Pour Drink on Reilly Smith
I wish I could say 'nice try' on this one, but it wouldn't be right. Last night's game 3 between the Edmonton Oilers and Vegas Golden Knights didn't go the way Edmonton fans had hoped. The Knights dominated the Oilers in their home arena, walking away with a 5-1 win. It seems some fans were taking the loss personally.
At one point, the camera was focused on Reilly Smith of Vegas while he was standing by the boards. You then see an arm draped in an Oilers jersey attempt to pour a drink on Smith, For whatever reason, it seems they completely forgot that there was a barrier between them. Most of the drink would end up on the glass.
The Knights now lead the series 2 games to 1 after last night's win. The Oilers will have a chance to even it up at home tomorrow night.
