Elliotte Friedman Leaks Pittsburgh Penguins' Next Acquisition
The Pittsburgh Penguins have had a very active off-season. From signing Ryan Graves and bringing back Tristan Jarry to the blockbuster trade that brought Erik Karlsson to Pittsburgh. Now Elliotte Friedman is reporting that the Penguins could be after another player.
Tatar To Pittsburgh
Veteran winger Tomas Tatar is looking for a new home after spending two years in New Jersey with the Devils. He is still a good scoring depth winger that any contending team would be able to use in their lineup. This will also add to the depth in Pittsburgh that they lost through free agency and the Karlsson trade. According to Elliotte Friedman Tatar or a player like him will be the target for the Penguins.
Tatar's Fit In Pittsburgh
Tatar is a complimentary winger who is a primary playmaker that can score when needed. He will work well up and down the lineup and would come at a lower cap hit than some of the other options on their roster.
