Fan Video shows Embarrassing Situation during Leafs-Panthers series
The Florida Panthers may be going deeper into the playoffs, but it seems the team's effort still isn't pulling in a ton of fans.
A video shot by a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs in Miami last night shows people in the stands trying to move around a giant Florida Panthers flag. It would be a much easier task if more seats were filled.
Despite having a great season in 2021-22, and making the playoffs again in 2022-23, it seems hockey is still a tough sell in Miami.
If you've been watching the series on TV, you've likely noticed there are many Maple Leafs jerseys in the stands, even though the team has limited anyone from outside the US from buying tickets until they've sold to residents of Florida first. Perhaps a Stanley Cup is needed for the area before the building is packed with Panthers fans.
