Fans Call Out Gary Bettman for Rigging the Stanley Cup
Gary Bettman is known for wanting the NHL to flourish in new markets but repeated controversial calls have begun to upset fans with potential league rigging.
Bettman Accused Of Rigging The NHL
Throughout Gary Bettman's 30-year tenure, he has helped the league get millions in revenue and has grown the game in ways few others have. However, did he do this cleanly or is he a dirty commissioner?
After a very controversial call in the dying seconds of game three, fans have started to question how the games are called and whether or not the league has a team they want to win.
Fans were outraged and started to speculate on potential rigging.
Obviously, after a super weak call like that, league rigging is heavily speculated. The chances the refs are that incompetent in a Stanley Cup Finals game is concerning. So of the two possibilities to explain this call, we have ref incompetence on the biggest stage or we have league rigging. Either option is disappointing for the NHL and they need to do better.
