PK Subban is an unrestricted free agent this summer and the New Jersey Devils have already shared their interest in trading the right handed defenseman. PK is currently playing for his 3rd NHL team, but he has never actually tested the free agent market.
This summer he will finally get that chance.
Tonight PK Subban and the New Jersey Devils are back in PK's old stomping grounds of Montreal and of course in classic Montreal media fashion PK was asked about the idea of returning to Montreal as a free agent.
Subban invokes Kevin Garnett's «Anything's possible,» regarding his future, when asked about a potential return to #Habs as a UFA. «You wanna' play where you're wanted,» says Subban, who appreciates NJ trading for him, adding, «Montreal will always be a home for me.»
PK still maintains a very good relationship with the City of Montreal where he still makes annual donations to the Montreal Children's Hopsital, and of course PK's good friend Carey Price remains a member of the Canadiens. Now with former GM Marc Bergevin gone, I guess, like PK says...anything's possible!
