We are now 14 days into free agency and the best rated defenceman available in free agency is still sitting without a contract. People have been getting frustrated with waiting on who he will sign with, along with another top free agent Nazem Kadri.
Turns out, Klingberg is just as tired of waiting. Apparently there has been a lack of market for his services, so today Klingberg officially fired his agent.
'm told free agent defenseman John Klingberg has parted ways with longtime agent Peter Wallen.
Klingberg is now being represented by Newport Sports Management.
