Josh Anderson and Jonah Gadjovich Drop the Gloves In an Old-School Heavy-Weight Fight
During last night's Canadiens-Panthers game, a message was sent by John Anderson late in the third period, as he dropped the gloves in the final minute of play with Jonah Gadjovich.
Anderson Sends Message to Panthers In Heavyweight Fight In Final Minutes of Panthers-Canadiens Game
It's not every day that you see an old-school fight in the NHL, as most tilts these days break out of the heat of the moment. This wasn't the case for Josh Anderson and Jonah Gadjovich last night, though.
In the final minute of the third period, Josh Anderson decided to send a message to the Panthers that despite losing 4-1, the Canadiens aren't a team to be messed with. The two engaged in a massive fight that saw both land some blows.
Anderson Looked to Take the Win in the Fight After Losing the Game
Though Anderson and the Canadiens lost the game 5-1, he appeared to have the upper hand in his tilt against Gadjovich. Anderson, sitting at 6-foot-3, 225, and Gadjovich, 6-foot-2, 210, both landed some big right hands. However, it looked like the extra reach of Anderson allowed him to take control of the fight, especially as the two got tired near the end.
Josh Anderson may not have scored tonight BUT he threw his body around something really impressive and also took on tough guy Gadjovich in a late game fight that should NOT have happened
