Leon Draisaitl Lashes Out at Teammates in New Interview
Leon Draisaitl is known for making T-Shirt worth comments about fans, teammates, and even the press. As mentioned on a recent episode of the Oilers Nation Podcast, while Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl certainly pulled their weight in the series against the Vegas Golden Knights, they showed their lack of depth as a team game after game.
While it can't be said that Vegas didn't deserve their first Stanley Cup Championship in franchise history, there were many games that the Oilers made very easy for the Golden Knights build confidence in themselves.
"We Didn't Play Our Best"
«I think that's series could (have gone) any direction,» Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl said on Thursday, after a captain's skate at Rogers Place. «But it didn't, and that's a fact. In just about every game in the series Vegas would score a goal - sometimes several - within moments of an Oilers goal. As a team that expects to do well in the playoffs, this is a problem they need to solve very quickly.
