Today a new report has added trade rumors into what has already been an electric 24 hours for the Anaheim Ducks.

Ducks Make A Huge Splash On The Trade Market

Last night the NHL world was stunned when the Anaheim Ducks announced they had acquired former top-five overall pick Cutter Gauthier from the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired Jamie Drysdale and a 2025 second-round pick from the Anaheim Ducks for Cutter Gauthier.

The trade itself was wild and then it was announced that Gauthier was going to refuse to sign in Philadelphia. This led to a trade of prospects at a level we usually never see. Since acquiring Gauthier rumors and reports have come in that indicate the Ducks might not be done trading big-name players.

Ducks Looking To Pull Of Another Star-Studded Trade

Today after the excitement of acquiring Cutter Gauthier calmed down NHL insider Darren Dreger reported some news that has Ducks fans on the edge of their seat again. Dreger reported that high-flying offensive center Trevor Zegras is potentially being shopped by the Ducks.

Darren Dreger states that he's been told by several teams that F Trevor Zegras may be available via trade.

Ducks fans and NHL fans around the league were excited to see Gauthier and his shooting ability play alongside a creative playmaker like Zegras. However, if the rumblings that Dreger is hearing become reality we might not see that take place.

As with all trade reports nothing is concrete until a trade is announced by the team themselves. It will be interesting to follow the Ducks and watch out for any more Zegras reports heading closer to the trade deadline.
