To own a sports team means you have to be a very wealthy individual. Owners of sports teams can afford to put six figures on a single playoff series. And that is exactly what Panthers owner Vincent Viola and Golden Knights owner Bill Foley did.
They have partnered to make a 6 figure donation to a veterans charity of the winner's choice.
An enormous wager but in the end all going to a good cause. It is nice to see the owners putting their differences aside for the greater good.
