We've seen some exciting players hit the waiver wire this year and it just continues to grow.
The San Jose Sharks right now are on a 3 game win streak, and much of that is due to the resurgence of elite offensive defenceman Erik Karlsson. Starting the season fully healthy for basically the first time in his career has really helped him this season and it's shows on the stats column.
Under new management the Sharks are about to enter a rebuild and rumors have been swirling regarding Karlsson. Today the Sharks have announced that they've put one of their defence on waivers.
That defenceman is Scott Harrington who signed with the Sharks on September 30th, but has only got into 2 games with the team this season.
If Harrington clears waivers, he will report to their AHL team.
At a low cap hit of $750,000 and over 200 games of NHL experience under his belt, he might be worth a pickup for a team looking for depth on their blue line.
