REPORT: Columbus Blue Jackets ACQUIRE another 1st round pick in 2023 draft via TRADE

Something thats rather new but adds a little excitement to the National Hockey League trades is adding in conditions with the trades. While this has been a thing for awhile, it hasn't been until recently that teams really started adding a lot of conditions.
We saw a lot of trades leading up to the trade deadline this year, but only a few on deadline day. But one of these deadline trades sent franchise goaltender Jonathan Quick to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Jonas Korpisalo and Vladislav Gavrikov.
In this trade, the Kings also added in a conditional first round pick along with a third round pick.
The condition on the first round pick was:
If the Kings do not qualify for the 2023 playoffs, CBJ will instead receive: 2023 2nd round pick and 2024 2nd round pick
But the LA Kings have officially clinched a spot in the playoffs, which now converts the pick officially into a 1st round pick for the Columbus Blue Jackets:
