Source: Expect trades sooner than later

With the NHL shutting down early for the holiday break at least one NHL source believes that we could be seeing trades sooner than later. With the fear of the league potentially shutting down again it appears at least some sellers are becoming more eager to potentially move players.
That source indicated the Canadiens especially became more involved over the weekend with potential trade action.
This is a very interesting situation to watch as there is a very good chance we could see movement after the NHL trade freeze lifts.
