Stars Fans Turning on Captain Jamie Benn for Cowardly Move After Game Three
Yesterday, the Dallas Stars' performance was nothing short of humiliating. Not only did they lose 4-0, but their attitude on and off the ice was unacceptable.
This was highlighted by captain Jamie Benn's behavior.
Only a couple of minutes into the game, he violently cross-checked Mark Stone in the face and was ejected.
Then Max Domi was also ejected, and fans didn't appreciate it.
Unfortunately, there's more.
Benn's Embarrassing Night Didn't End There
After he was ejected in the first period, Benn didn't attend to his captain duties and left the building without speaking to the media.
"Jamie Benn just walked out of the arena and got in his car without talking to the media, after he was issued a game misconduct 1:53 into Game 3 for cross-checking."
This is completely unacceptable coming from an experienced captain like Benn. He should have known better.
He'll have a lot of explaining to do the next time he's in front of the media.
