Casey DeSmith Traded to Vancouver
As reported by Darren Dreger and Frank Seravalli, The Canadiens and the Canucks have made a blockbuster deal which will see Casey DeSmith to Vancouver for Tanner Pearson.

To #Canucks: Casey DeSmith
No salary retained.
Tanner Pearson has been traded to Montreal.
This comes after rumours circulated that Vancouver was looking to find a goaltender before training camp. Montreal was also in the market to get rid of a Goaltender as they already were splitting time between two starters before adding DeSmith this offseason.
