The Edmonton Oilers were in a ''do or die'' game last night heading to LA for game 6. The Oilers have not had much playoff success during the McDavid era, and many are wondering if he will request a trade if this team is unsuccessful in making a deep run again this year.
Considered by many the best player in the game right now, McDavid was not allowing his team to lose last night as just 1:40 into the game McJesus puts the Oilers on the board, scoring his 3rd of the series. McDavid would finish the game with 3 points and was his 12th point of the series.
At the beginning of the third period last night, Arthur Kaliyev caught McDavid in the neutral zone with what should have been an interference call, but went unnoticed, and McDavid was definitely a little shaken up from the hit.
