Zack MacEwen's mom sends an amazing message to her son after his fight against Chara

Parents often find it difficult to watch their children play hockey, they often are even more nervous than their kids and it's even worse when your child is a fighter.

On Tuesday night Zack MacEwen took on the tough task of dropping the gloves with legendary Zdeno Chara. Unfortunately for MacEwen like many others before him he lost that fight, but Zack's mother took to Twitter to share her thoughts on her son.

"It's always tough watching this part of the game, but I know someone who would have been very proud to see his boy not back down from such an icon! @zmacewen11 your Dad was definitely on the edge of heaven last night!🧡"

Zack may not have won the fight, but he's definitely doing an amazing job of making his mother proud and father proud.
