Boston Bruins sign two top free agents away from the Vancouver Canucks
The Boston Bruins have officially signed two top free agents away from the Vancouver Canucks: Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov.
Just now, it was announced that the Boston Bruins had signed Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov away from the Canucks.
Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm have both signed with the Boston Bruins
Elias Lindholm signs a seven-year deal with #bruins carrying a $7.75M AAV.
Nikita Zadorov signs a six-year deal with #bruins carrying a $5M AAV.
The pair both were mid-season acquisitions by the Canucks from the Calgary Flames and will now be teammates on the third team of their careers.
The Bruins and Canucks are notorious for their bad blood from the 2011 Stanley Cup Final. It is unlikely that the Bruins would sign the duo out of spite but it certainly will rub Canucks fans the wrong way. The Bruins are expected to compete for the cup with their two new acquisitions.
More details to come.
