New reports are coming in this afternoon that indicate one of the Bruins' top defensemen will be benched for tonight's game. The reports have confirmed the player will be benched after missing a team meeting.
Bruins Defenseman Benched For Missing Team Meeting
Reports have come in today confirming that Boston Bruins defenseman Derek Forbort will be benched for tonight's game. Forbort reportedly missed an important team meeting leading to the harsh punishment.
Derek Forbort will not play. Missed a team meeting.
At this time it has not been confirmed if Forbort will be forced to miss more than one game. The media will likely get an opportunity to hear both Head Coach Bruce Cassidy and potentially Derek Forbort speak about the incident at some point.
