This Calgary Flames forward had himself a night, and not a good one, after he was ejected for boarding a Kraken defender. He now faces a potential massive suspension for his actions.

Pospisil Starts Game Off With Questionable Hit Setting the Tone for the Night

Martin Pospisil was on one last night and not the good kind. He started his night off with a questionable hit, and it went downhill from there. He delivered a hit on the Kraken's Adam Larsson, which went uncalled but sent Larsson into the boards head-first. The Kraken took exception to the hit, starting a scrum in response.

Ty Kartye went after Martin Pospisil for his huge hit on Larsson in the 1st period 👊

There is an argument that this hit wasn't technically from behind, however, I think it is within the rules to call this a boarding penalty. He clearly sends Larsson into the boards in an awkward position, and it could have been avoided.

Pospisil's Hits Only Got Worse as the Game Went On Leaving Him Kicked Out

Pospisil wasn't done there, either. He later delivered another terrible hit on the Kraken's Vince Dunn. This hit is unquestionably from behind and resulted in Pospisil being ejected from the game.

That is genuinely the most egregious boarding penalty I've ever seen.

Has to be at least five games, right? Numbers all the way, a solid five seconds to react horrendous.

Clearly, Pospisil had the time to react to Dunn only showing his numbers the entire time. However, he instead chose to deliver the hit from behind, which rightly resulted in his ejection. He is likely to face a suspension for the hit as well.

Do you think it is suspension-worthy?
