Bedard Responds to Kane's Threat of Going After Him If It Weren't For the Bubble

Connor Bedard and Patrick Kane faced off the other night in Chicago on what seemed like a historic night. There was a sense that the torch was being passed from one Blackhawks legend Patrick Kane to one who will hopefully be a legend in Connor Bedard.

During the game, the two stars got tangled up after Bedard laid a decently sized hit on Kane. After the game, Kane made a funny comment on the play, saying he would have gone after Bedard if it weren't for the bubble.

Now, Connor Bedard has responded to comments, saying he knows Kane wasn't being serious, and that he thought it was funny.

«I'm pretty sure he wasn't too serious. I heard that and thought it was pretty funny. He got the last laugh on us, but it was good to kind of hear that, joking about it.»

Kane Shows Chicago Why He is One of the Greatest During First Game Back

Patrick Kane didn't leave anything behind in his return to Chicago, showing fans exactly why he is one of the greatest to ever wear the jersey. He scored the winning goal in overtime, in almost poetic form.

Blackhawks fans were about as happy as you can be seeing who scored the goal to make them lose, and ultimately the night ended how it should.
