Bedard Scores A Nasty Goal And Stares Down Goalie That Punched Him
Tonight's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Carolina Hurricanes has been intense. The Hurricanes came into this game wanting to use physicality to test Connor Bedard and have done that. From a reverse hit by Sebastian Aho to a shove from goaltender Spencer Martin Bedard has taken his lumps.
Despite being shoved around Bedard did not let it phase him in fact he used it as fuel. Early in the third period with the Blackhawks down in the game, Bedard sniped a nasty goal while falling. After scoring Bedard took a nice long stare down at Martin.
Bedard scores a bullet and refuses to celebrate down 5-2 to Carolina
Despite Bedard's sweet goal the Blackhawks still trailed by a significant amount. This is something Spencer Martin made sure to remind the young star.
I thought it was interesting Bedard has gotten into it with Spencer Martin twice tonight. Martin pointed at the scoreboard after he stared at him after scoring.
Even though Bedard and the Blackhawks are not finding team success as of late it is always good to see him doing well personally. Hopefully he will continue scoring highlight reel goals for years to come.
