Last night Dallas Stars fans had to hold their breath after their star goaltender Jake Oettinger was run over by Edmonton Oilers forward Dylan Holloway.

During last night's game, both the Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers were trying to set a tone for the Eastern Conference Finals during Game 2. This led to a heavily physical game between both teams. At one point that physicality was forced upon Stars goalie Jake Oettinger as he was run into by Oilers forward Dylan Holloway.

A COLLISION THAT INVOLVES JAKE OETTINGER

After being run over by Dylan Holloway, Jake Oettinger gets up and seems to be shaken up wincing in pain. Luckily for the Dallas Stars and their fans, he would stay in the game and continue to play to his high standards. His excellent play along with a game-winner from Mason Marchment would propel the Dallas Stars to tie the series winning last night's game 3-1.

MASON MARCHMENT GIVES DALLAS THE LEAD!

After the game, the Dallas Stars did not provide an update on Jake Oettinger's health. The fact that he finished the game is a great sign that he should be good to go for Game 3. The Dallas Stars are going to need the best version of Jake Oettinger as they now head on the road to Edmonton for games 3 and 4.
