This Montreal Canadiens player accidentally leaked the true reason that Martin St. Louis was absent from their game last night, giving some insight into what he might be going through.
Savard Says He Wants To Win Game For St. Louis Son
Prior to the Canadiens game yesterday, it was revealed that Martin St. Louis would be absent. The details of his reason for not attending the game were not revealed, other than it being for personal reasons.
During an intermission interview, however, David Savard may have slipped up in providing some information on what was happening. He said he wanted the Canadiens to win the game for St. Louis' son.
David Savard just said on TVA Sports that he hopes to win the game for Marty's son. No idea what's up with him, but the whole of Habsland is sending him positive thoughts. #GoHabsGo
This hardly provides any detailed information on what could be going on, however, we are sending our thoughts to the entire St. Louis family.
Canadiens Lose 5-2 to Calgary
The Canadiens were not able to get it done last night against the Flames, losing the game 5-2, and failing to get anything going throughout the battle. There will need to be some refocusing for the Canadiens down the stretch if they want to remain competitive.
