Montreal podcasters make atrocious inhumane comments about Johnny Gaudreau
A popular Montreal Canadiens podcast show is under major fire after some horrific comments they made regarding the Johnny Gaudreau situation.
On one episode of "The Sick Podcast," hosted by Grant McCagg and Shayne Gaumond, the hosts spoke about the tragic deaths of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau in a way many found terribly insensitive. Suffice it to say, their attempt to connect the passing of these lives with a team's draft choices was met with outrage in great measure.
Public reaction was immediate and overwhelmingly negative; the two hosts took heavy fire among comments for insensitive remarks. The episode has since been pulled from all platforms in the wake of all the backlash, but McCagg and Gaumond have yet to issue an apology or clarify the comments.
People will be keeping a close eye on this situation this week to see what else comes from it, whether any apology is made, or whether the shows gets canceled altogether!
