Auston Matthews had a historic game last night, scoring his 60th goal. But the excitement wasn't done there, as he was ejected after a full line brawl.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a new look this year, with guys like Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi making the top end of the lineup a little more gritty than in years past. However, one thing remains the same, and that is Auston Matthews' ability to score goals.

Last night, Leaf fans got a taste of both worlds, as Auston Matthews scored his 60th goal, making him the 9th player in the NHL to score multiple 60-goal seasons.

The fireworks continued in the final minute of the game when the game broke out in a line brawl. The brawl saw all players, including Auston Matthews, ejected from the game, which isn't something that happens to him.

CHAOS IN THE FINAL MINUTE

Matthews wasn't really involved in the brawl and was the victim of the mass prosecution of all players on the ice. While there weren't any actual fights with their gloves off, a few players like Bobby McMann and Mark Giordano were getting heated.

Matthews is now on the hunt for a potential 70-game season, as the Leafs have 9 games remaining. While it will be a hard feat to try and reach, it is definitely not out of the question, and he has the support from some of the NHL's greatest.
