Matthew Tkachuk embarrasses Auston Matthews off the ice
Matthew Tkachuk is one of the most marketable names in the NHL and he has officially surpassed Auston Matthews and others for the most sponsorships in the NHL.
When thinking of the biggest names in the NHL, a few names instantly come to mind. Stars like Connor McDavid, Connor Bedard, Sidney Crosby, and Auston Matthews all jump out as some of the most marketable players in the league.
However, Matthew Tkachuk has officially surpassed Matthews, McDavid, Bedard, and Leon Draisaitl for the NHL athlete with the most endorsement deals.
Tkachuk is one of the few players on this list that plays for an American team joining Connor Bedard of the Chicago Blackhawks and Jack Hughes of the New Jersey Devils.
Matthews' teammates Morgan Rielly and Mitch Marner also both make the list for the most NHLers with the most endorsement deals ahead of teammates John Tavares and William Nylander.
With the offseason soon approaching, Matthews may have the opportunity to get more endorsement deals and could tie or even pass Tkachuk in just a few months.
