Jeremy Swayman has had a solid series in net for the Boston Bruins, but according to Sheldon Keefe, he's not in their heads as Jim Montgomery believes.

Unsurprisingly, the round one series between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins has been full of fire and passion, with the perfect example being the interaction between Max Domi and Jeremy Swayman during a timeout.

The interaction caused a flare up with veteran enforcer Pat Maroon, and after the game, Head Coach Jim Montgomery credited the star goaltender with ‘getting in the Maple Leafs heads'.

"When Domi goes off the bench and bumps him on purpose, makes me think that maybe he's in their head a little bit."

However, Toronto Head Coach Sheldon Keefe doesn't see it that way, contributing that to simply being playoff hockey, rather than Swayman being in their heads, with no frustration and plenty of optimism remaining in Leafs camp.

"Keefe on Montgomery comment re: Domi-Swayman bump:

'It's playoff hockey & things are happening all over the ice. With that logic you would say every time they bump into one of our guys maybe we're in their heads.'

Frustration with chances not falling?

'I sense zero frustration.'"

Whether or not the confidence and lack of frustration is there, the team need to start scoring on Swayman, because if they don't, they'll head back to Boston facing a 3-1 deficit, a place this team desperately doesn't want to be.
