Artemi Panarin delivers the dirtiest hit of the playoffs on TJ Oshie
New York Rangers star Artemi Panarin laid a dangerous high hit on Washington Capitals veteran TJ Oshie in retaliation for an uncalled high stick from earlier in the game.
TJ Oshie and Artemi Panarin have been going at it this evening. Earlier in the game, Oshie got away with a high stick on Panarin and gave Panarin an earful.
Panarin retaliated with this massive hit.
No penalty for NYR Panarin after review. While there was head contact on the play, head was not main point of contact and WSH Oshie's lunge for the puck contributed to the head contact.
TJ Oshie has left the game.

The game ended with a 4-3 victory for the Rangers moving up 2-0 in the series heading away to Washington for games 3 and 4.
