Tonight a scart scene broke out when a New York Rangers player needed to be escorted away from the ice via ambulance.
Scary Scene At The Stadium Series After Player Leaves In Ambulance
In the third period of the wild game between the New York Rangers and Islanders, a scary injury occurred. Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren went down and was hunched over. He struggled to get back to the bench with the help of his teammates.
After leaving the game reports began to come in that Lindgren was transported to an ambulance via golf cart. The injury reportedly involves his face and several stitches. It is unclear why the ambulance was required.
Just watched Ryan Lindgren get escorted on golf cart to an ambulance. He was able to walk on his own, face with many visible stitches, eyes completely swollen. #NYR
Lindgren's status for games going forward is now in doubt due to this injury. As more information becomes available on his injury and future status we will provide it to you.
