During a recent interview, a former first-overall pick slipped and used some vulgar language. Since then the interview has made its way around social media with mixed reactions.
Canadiens Lose Frustrating Matchup Against Eastern Conference Foe
Last night the Montreal Canadiens went up against the Washington Capitals. In what many Canadiens fans expected to be a successful night ended in massive frustration. The Canadiens would lose 4-3 and despite having an assist 2022 first-overall pick Juraj Slafkovsky was visibly frustrated with the loss.
After smashing his stick Slafkovsky would be asked to do a post-game interview. His anger and intensity would spill over into the post-game where he used some colorful language to describe the situation.
First Overall Pick Uses Colorful Language In Post-Game Interview
After a frustrating loss to the Washington Capitals former first overall pick and Montreal Canadiens forward Juraj Slafkovsky needed to do an interview. Slafkovsky in a moment of heightened emotion and frustration let some explicit language out.
Pissed? Oh, my god. The empty net at the end, I hit the guy, f***ing.. I don't know what to say. I just need to f***ing shoot next to him.
Slafkovsky as you can see would go on to apologize for his use of bad language. Despite an unsuccessful night for Slafkovsky and the Canadiens things have been improving over the last month.
As the season continues on it will be interesting to see if the Canadiens and Slafkovsky can put this frustration behind them and get back on track.
