On Sunday afternoon's game between the New York Rangers and Islanders, defenseman Ryan Lindgren had to leave the ice after a collision with Jean-Gabriel Pageau.
New York Rangers' Defenseman Ryan Lindgren Gets Injured After Major Collision with Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau
It all happened behind the Rangers' goal. Pageau and Lindgren were fighting for the puck and ran into the boards. As you can see in the following video, Lindgren's leg bends in the wrong way.
Lindgren is one of the Rangers' top defenseman and the team surely hopes to see him back healthy for the playoffs.
