Veteran forward Brock McGinn undergoes season-ending surgery
The Anaheim Ducks made an announcement on social media today stating that winger Brock McGinn will miss the rest of the season following back surgery to repair a disc.
Ducks forward out for the rest of the season
McGinn is in his second year with the Ducks. He played just 15 games last year as he dealt with serious injury problems. This season he got into just 24 games, recording a single goal and just 3 points prior to this news.
INJURY REPORT: Winger Brock McGinn underwent successful disc surgery (back) last week and is recovering at home.
He is expected to be out of action for four months.
McGinn has never been much of an offensive weapon with his career high in goals being just 16 and his career high in points being 30. He set both marks in his third year in the NHL back in the 2017-18 season with the Carolina Hurricanes. He has 76 goals and 150 points in 508 career games played.
